Azerbaijani musicians to perform at Caspian Classical Music Festival OperaFirst-2022

Azerbaijani musicians will perform at the International Caspian Classical Music Festival “OperaFirst” to be held in Astrakhan, Russia, on September 2 to 11.

The concert program, to be held as part of the national project “Culture”, will bring together theater soloists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

The festival program will continue with the Days of the Caspian countries, where guests will be able to get acquainted with the culture of each state. Concert programs will be held on the stage of the Philharmonic: “Day of Turkmenistan” – September 7, “Day of Iran” – September 8, “Day of Azerbaijan” – September 9 and “Day of Kazakhstan” – September 10.

Works by Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Oktay Zulfugarov and Frangiz Alizade will be performed within the Days of Azerbaijan.

The final concert will take place on September 11 at the Cathedral Square of the Astrakhan Kremlin, where opera stars Maria Mudryak from Kazakhstan, Yevgeny Nikitin and Azer Zada from Azerbaijan, Chinggis Ayusheev from Kazakhstan, Farnush Rakhimi from Iran will perform to the accompaniment of the combined symphony orchestra of the Caspian countries under the direction of Mikhail Golikov.
