Azerbaijani Parliament Members and Staff Participate in Rally to Heydar Peak

Baku – In honor of the centenary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, members of the Azerbaijani parliament and parliamentary staff participated in a rally to Heydar Peak. The event, part of the Heydar Aliyev Year celebrations, saw Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, Chief of the Parliamentary Staff Farid Hajiyev, and a group of MPs and staff members undertake the challenging ascent.

According to Trend News Agency, the rally culminated on November 18 at an altitude of 3,751 metres in the Bashdag Range of the Greater Caucasus, where participants paid respects at the bas relief of Heydar Aliyev installed at the summit. Despite harsh weather conditions and challenging terrain, the rally successfully reached its goal, reflecting the participants’ dedication and respect for the legacy of the Great Leader.
