Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has met with President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste José Ramos-Horta, who is on a visit to the country.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of the 10th Global Baku forum, which will be held in Baku.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov expressed confidence that the first visit of the President of Timor-Leste to Azerbaijan would have a positive impact on the development of relations between the two countries.

The sides exchanged views on the issues discussed during the meeting between President José Ramos-Horta and President Ilham Aliyev, as well as prospects for bilateral cooperation in various areas.
