President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a Turkish delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly from Ankara Mevlüt Karakaya.
The guest conveyed to Aliyev the greetings of the party’s leader Devlet Bahçeli and congratulated him on the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.
Aliyev, in turn, thanking for the greetings, recalled Turkey’s political, moral and diplomatic support for Azerbaijan during the period of hostilities.
Aliyev stressed that the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli as chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, an ally of the ruling Justice and Development Party, had great political and moral significance.
Karakaya informed the head of Azerbaijan about the initiative of his party to build a school with a focus on culture and art on the liberated lands. He said he met with the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan and other officials on this matter.
Aliyev thanked for this initiative and stressed that it will be taken into account in the work and plans for the restoration and urban planning on the liberated lands.
Reporting on the preparation of general plans for the liberated cities, Aliyev noted that he would give appropriate instructions on choosing a suitable location for the school building.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for the successful development of fraternal and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Earlier Bahçeli announced his party’s readiness to build a school in Shusha. –06D-
