Azerbaijani-Turkish relations reached the highest level: PM

“On June 15, 2021 Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the first time in Shusha,” said Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the press conference with Turkish First Vice President Fuat Oktay in Shusha, APA reports.

 

Prime Minister noted that Shusha declaration signed on the same day, became the peak of unprecedented friendship, brotherhood, partnership, and solidarity between Azerbaijan and Turkiye at the global level, and raised our bilateral relations to strategic alliance level: “Azerbaijani-Turkish friendship, brotherhood derives its strength from mutual national moral values and traditions of our people. As a result of the tireless efforts of Presidents Ilham Aliyev, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan Azerbaijani-Turkish relations have reached the highest level today. Existing sincere friendship and partnership relations between our heads of the states, trust, and confidence, is the most important factor that positively impacts the successful development of Azerbaijani and Turkish relations. Allied relations between our countries are developing an accelerating line in all fields. I consider that the visit of mister Fuat Oktay is clear evidence for it. The visit is very successful.”
