Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov have had a telephone conversation.

The Ministers exchanged views on the agenda of cooperation between the two countries, as well as topical issues related to further strengthening traditional friendly relations.

The ministers also discussed issues of regional security and cooperation within international organizations.

They hailed the importance of the high-level meeting between Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey scheduled for this year.

The FMs also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
