At the end of last year, Azerbaijan’s proven oil reserves amounted to 7 billion barrels or 1 billion tons.

This is stated in the report of BP, AZERTAC reports.

According to the report, 0.4% of the world’s proven oil reserves fall to Azerbaijan. In 2020, oil production in our country amounted to 716,000 barrels per day. Thus, last year the country’s total oil production was 35.1 million tons.
