BAKU—The Baku City Circuit Operation Company has initiated comprehensive training for marshals to ensure smooth management of the upcoming Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024, set for September 13-15, according to Trend. The training, held at the Baku City Circuit Training Center located in the European Games Park, includes both theoretical and practical components.

According to Trend News Agency, the theoretical training sessions provided marshals with insights into strategic and technical updates specific to this season’s competition in Baku. Meanwhile, the practical training involved honing technical skills on a specially designed simulation track. The event has garnered significant interest, with 2,800 applications received for marshal positions, including 2,510 from local and 290 from international candidates, reflecting a robust engagement from the global motorsport community.
