Baku reacts to visit of Greek and Latvian parliamentarians to Nagorno-Karabakh

Baku reacted to visit of members of Greece and Latvia’s parliaments to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The visit of member of Greek parliament Garyfallia (Liana) Kanelli and the member of the Latvian parliament Sergejs Potapkins to Karabakh is instigation and a biased approach, the spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Hikmat Hajiyev told Trend. Azerbaijan’s embassies in Greece and Latvia will express dissatisfaction of the Azerbaijani side to the relevant structures of Greece and Latvia on the basis of friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries” Trend quotes Hajiyev as saying.

To note, Head of the Greece-Armenia Deputy Friendship Group Garifalia Kanelli and Head of the Latvia-Armenia Deputy Friendship Group Sergei Potapkin visited Nagorno-Karabakh to get familiar with the situation after the escalation in the conflict zone. President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan met them and discussed in details the situation in the zone of conflict.
