BEU Master’s Students Embark on Dual Degree Program in China

Baku: Eight master's students of the Baku Engineering University (BEU) are currently in the People's Republic of China to continue their studies under the dual degree program implemented in partnership with Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a memorandum of cooperation signed between BEU and BUCEA this year facilitates the dual degree program at the master's level under two models. The program includes the fields of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

The educational process is structured in a 0.5+2.5-year format, allowing students to complete the first semester of the program at BEU and the remaining semesters at BUCEA.

The primary objective of the program is to train highly qualified and competitive specialists with international experience. Students selected according to established criteria will, upon successful completion of their studies, receive master's degrees from both universities.
