Biden says allies will provide Ukraine wit 700 tanks

The President of the USA, Joe Biden, during a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in Kyiv on February 20, 2023, announced that the United States would allocate a new package of military aid to Ukraine for 500 million dollars, which would include, in particular, missiles for the HIMARS systems, anti-tank missile systems Javelin, etc, APA reports.

 

“Together with our allies, we have gathered 700 tanks, thousands of military vehicles, 1,000 artillery systems, more than 2 million artillery shells, more than 50 long-range artillery systems, anti-ship and air defense systems, and everything for the defense of Ukraine. And this is without taking into account the $0.5 billion of military aid that I am announcing today and tomorrow,” Joe Biden emphasized.

 

The President of the USA noted that the new package of military aid would include, in particular, more missiles for HIMARS systems, Javelin anti-tank missile systems, as well as more military equipment and weapons.

 

In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with the President of the United States Joseph Biden the issue of longer-range and other weapons that can be supplied to Ukraine.
