The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the “Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Perpetuating the Memory of Martyr and Benefits of Families of Martyrs,”, APA reports.

According to the current rules, in order to perpetuate the name of the martyr, the local district (city) executive authorities have erected busts of martyrs who are twice the National Hero of Azerbaijan.

According to the amendment, the term of being twice National Hero was removed. Thus, the local district (city) executive authorities will erect busts to martyrs, the National Hero of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, busts of the Hero of the Patriotic War of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be installed.
