Chairman of Moldovan Parliament visits Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli and Shusha-UPDATED

The delegation, led by Chairman of Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu has visited Fuzuli and Shusha, liberated from the occupation, Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

The guests have been accompanied by the deputy chairman of Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, head of Azerbaijan-Moldova working group on interparliamentary relations Sabir Hajiyev, and other officials.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation was informed about the destructions conducted by Armenians in Fuzuli, destruction of religious and cultural monuments, as well as reconstruction works, and projects carried out by the Azerbaijani state after the region was liberated from the occupation.

After Fuzuli, the delegation visited Shusha. Guests, first of all, got acquainted with the Shusha fortress. They were informed that the fortress, built by Karabakh khan Panahali khan, protected the city from foreign interventions for a long time and was a symbol of inviolability.

Visit of delegation, led by Chairman of Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu, to liberated from occupation Fuzuli and Shusha cities has started, APA reports.

The delegation is considered to visit Fortress Walls of Shusha, Jidir Duzu Plain, House Museum of Bulbul, and other historical places within the framework of the visit.

The guests will view reconstruction works in Shusha.
