Companies and entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan will be able to launch a student scholarship, it has been reflected in the draft law “On high education”, which has been developed by Working Group established on the draft law “On high education” under the Science and Education Committee and will be discussed at the meeting of Working Group scheduled for November 2, APA reports.

According to the draft law, scholarships will be determined and paid to students, who study in high education institutions in a traditional form, at the account of the state budget in relevance with rules of scholarship, confirmed by the relevant executive body. The scholarship is a money fund, which is given to students with the purpose of stimulating and supporting the increase of their training achievements.

Following types of scholarship are launched:

– education scholarship for students;

– Named scholarships;

– individual scholarship;

– scholarships, appointed by legal and physical entities.
