Continued Development on Aghdam-Asgaran-Khojaly-Khankendi Highway

AGHDAM— Progress continues on the reconstruction of the Aghdam-Asgaran-Khojaly-Khankendi highway, a vital infrastructure project aimed at enhancing regional connectivity.

According to Trend News Agency, the ongoing work includes the construction of 5 bridges and 2 crossings along the 33.6-kilometer route. This development is part of a broader effort to improve transportation infrastructure that facilitates vehicle movement and supports economic growth in sectors like agriculture and tourism. The highway will particularly aid in connecting the cities of Khankendi, Shusha, and Lachin with Barda, providing a bypass that avoids the urban center of Aghdam, thus easing travel for drivers and passengers alike.
