Contracts on construction projects of 19 villages on liberated lands were signed

The Center for Territorial Construction and Planning under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture signed contracts for the development of urban planning justification for the construction of 19 villages in the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation. Information about the contracts signed without competitive procurement procedures is placed today in the Unified Portal of State Electronic Procurement. Direct contracts were awarded to five private companies (LLC ‘Qala Group’, LLC ‘Irontree’, LLC ‘Bureau Mhit’, LLC ‘Reflect Architects’ and ‘EL and EN’), as well as five state design institutes. Total cost of the projects is estimated at 4 million 426.200 manats. According to these contracts , the following villages are being restored: – villages of Juvarly, Garakollu, Gochakhmedli and Gargabazar of Fizuli region; – villages of Giyasly, Salakhly-Kenderli, Gulluja and Eyvazkhanbeyli of Aghdam region; – villages of Saryjally and Mashanly of Jabrayil region; – villages of Muradkhanly and Khal of Gubadly region; – villages of Kurdhaji, Erikli and Pirjahan of Lachyn region; – villages of Chaikend and Gamyshly of Kelbajar region; – villages of Zangelan and Alybeyli of Zangelan region. It ought to be noted that according to the government’s plans, new villages will be built by combining several former settlements that were completely destroyed during the Armenian occupation in 1992-2020. Last year, the contracts were signed for the development of urban planning justification of several villages in the liberated territories. Construction work is underway on some of them.
