A UEFA EURO 2020 football match, hosting Czech Republic going up against the Denmark was held in Baku, Trend reports.

The national teams of the Czech Republic and Denmark fought to reach the semifinals. The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Denmark national team, which thus reached the semifinals of the championship.

In the semifinals, Denmark will face the winner of the England-Ukraine match. In the second game of the semifinals, the national teams of Spain and Italy will fight for reaching the final.

EURO 2020 is being held from June 11 to July 11 in 11 European cities. Four Group A games will be held in Baku within EURO 2020.

The European Football Championship was supposed to be held last year but was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
