Erdogan: Those who allowed the Holy Quran to be burned should not expect good from us in joining NATO

“Those who permitted the Holy Quran to be burned in front of our embassy in Sweden should not expect anything positive from us in terms of NATO membership,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President in his address to the people after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

He noted that this step is an insult to humanity.

“You’ll have terrorist group members roaming your streets, and then you’ll seek for support in joining NATO. Such a thing cannot happen. Don’t expect it from us. Do you care so much about and defend Islam’s enemies and terrorist groups? Then give them the charge of defending your country,” Erdogan said.
