A man who escaped from the temporary detention center of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Ata district is suspected of serious crimes. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The escape was committed today at 1.40 a.m. The suspect is a 28-year-old resident of Balykchy city Kushubek Sabyrov.
«He is suspected of kidnapping, robbery, murder and illegal deprivation of liberty. The man turned to the sentry for help, saying that he had health problems. When the police officer opened the cell door and took him to another room, Sabyrov asked for medicine for a heart disease. The guard brought the medicine, at that moment the accused put a knife to his throat, threw him to the ground, put a gag in his mouth, and then tied him up with a cloth from the mattress. He took the keys to the temporary detention facility and fled. All the services were informed about the escape, including to the Border Service, and a travel ban was issued. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the escape,» the ministry said.
