On August 26, Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, participated in the opening of the newly constructed building of secondary school No. 334 in Bina settlement of Khazar district of the capital.
The executive director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Anar Alakbarov, informed the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva about the conditions created in the new building of the school.
It was reported that the territory of the Hovsan vegetable-dairy state farm in Bina settlement is one of the densely populated places. Students had to travel more than 5 kilometers to the existing educational institution in Bina settlement. Taking into account the current situation, a new school building with 800 seats was built by the Foundation in Bina settlement on the instructions of Mehriban Aliyeva, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and it was put to use by teachers and students on the eve of the new academic year.
In the three-story building of the school, a classroom, laboratory, labor training rooms, a cabinet for new technologies and robotics, an informatics class, a military training room, a pre-school training class, a library, sports and assembly halls, archive rooms, and a canteen have been created.
At the same time, an open-air football field was built, and recreation booths were installed. The territory of the school has been improved and planted with greenery.
On August 26, Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, participated in the opening of the fundamentally reconstructed building of the nursery-kindergarten No. 277 at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Garachukhur settlement of Surakhani district of Baku city.
The first vice-president got acquainted with the conditions created in the nursery-kindergarten.
Aygun Allahverdiyeva, the head of the nursery-kindergarten, informed that the building of the nursery-kindergarten No. 277 was built in 1993. Due to the need for repair work in the building, major repair works were carried out at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the nursery-kindergarten was rebuilt in accordance with modern requirements and equipped with necessary furniture, inventory and equipment.
It was brought to attention that the 220-bed nursery-kindergarten consists of two buildings. The yard of the kindergarten has been landscaped, and entertainment facilities have been installed here.
