First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has made an Instagram post on Azerbaijani athlete who won the 7th gold medal at Tokyo 2020, APA reports.

The Instagram post reads: “Our next victory! Our national team athlete Hamid Heydari won the seventh gold medal for Azerbaijan! In the javelin throw competition, he showed a result of 51.42 meters and this became a new world record. I sincerely congratulate our athlete and wish the national team new achievements!”
