Five Pakistani citizens have been detained while trying to violate the state border of Azerbaijan towards Georgia. This happened on March 24 at the official territory of the “Shamkir” outpost of the State Border Guard Service (SBGS) of Azerbaijan. It was established that the detainees entered Azerbaijani territory legally, but then they intended to violate the border, cross to Georgia and migrate from there to a European country, the SBGS said. Investigative measures are ongoing to reveal the illegal migration channel and neutralize it.
