Four more new ministers, whose appointments were approved by the National Assembly on April 4, will take their office today, according to local media reports.

Those newly appointed ministers are H.E. Ouk Rabun, Minister of Rural Development; H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport; H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and H.E. Him Chhem, Senior Minister and Minister of Cults and Religious Affairs.

They will assume office in different ceremonies held under the presidency of H.E. Sok An, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Office of the Council of Ministers; H.E. Bin Chhin, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; H.E. Yim Chhay Ly, Deputy Prime Minister; and H.E. Ms. Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister, respectively.

H.E. Tram Iv Tek will officially take up his post as new Minister of Posts and Telecommunications tomorrow under the presidency of H.E. Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense.

Yesterday, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, newly appointed Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, took his office in a ceremony held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, while H.E. Chea Sophara, newly appointed Senior Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction started his new role in the presence of Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
