Gas prices in Europe fell to $773 per thousand cubic meters

On January 3, gas prices in Europe fell by 9%, to $773 per thousand cubic meters, according to data from the London ICE exchange. February futures on the TTF index (the largest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $870 per thousand cubic meters (+2.4%), which became the price maximum of trading. The minimum was reached at the close of the trading session – $773 (-9%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day – 849.7 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
