A criminal case has been initiated by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General due to illegal actions of ASR and ARKAN TOUR LLC officials.

According to the report of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as a result of criminal conspiracy between director of “ASR” LLC Asker Bayramov, director of “ARKAN TOUR” LLC Tunzali Aliyeva and other persons, 101 people received false documents about a negative test for COVID-19 for a flight from Ganja to St. Petersburg without an appropriate medical examination.

Total amount of the criminal transaction made up 12,120 manats (over 7,000 dollars).

Note that Bayramov and Aliyeva are charged under Articles 308.2 (abuse of official powers that led to serious consequences), 320.1 (illegal production and sale of official documents) and 320.2 (use of deliberately forged documents) of the Criminal Code.

Bayramov was arrested by a court decision. Operational and investigative measures on the fact are underway.
