Heavy rains, hail and gale-force winds continued in a number of low-lying and foothill regions of Azerbaijan over the past day.

Mudslides and floods on rivers have caused significant damage to agriculture, there is destruction of roads and infrastructure.

The elements covered Bilasuvar, Ismayilli, Agjabedi, Shamkir, Ujar. A strong rockfall blocked the Ismayilli-Lahij roads, where restoration work is underway.

The scale of the disaster is evidenced by videos taken by eyewitnesses from the places.
