IDF troops at ‘very high readiness’ on Lebanese border – General Staff


Baku: The IDF approved plans for “various unforeseen circumstances” and has its forces at “very high readiness” near the Lebanese border, TASS reports citing IDF General Staff Chief General Herzi Halevi.

“Today, we have approved plans for various unforeseen consequences, and we must be ready to strike, if necessary. The IDF and its Northern Command are at very high readiness,” he said during the meeting on assessment of the situation in the Northern Command headquarters.

“So far, the campaign here [on the Lebanese border] was meticulous and correct, and it must continue like this,” Halevi added.
