Japan’s “ajmedia.jp” portal has published articles highlighting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s Order on declaring 2023 as “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country.

The articles published in Japanese and English languages, informed Japanese audience about the exceptional role played by national leader Heydar Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan.

Citing the presidential Order, the articles noted that 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman. On this occasion, 2023 was declared as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Azerbaijan.
