Kazakhstan is holding national referendum

A national referendum has started in Kazakhstan, APA reports citing TASS.

Citizens of the country will vote on 56 amendments to 33 articles of the Constitution.

10,013 polling stations were opened for voting. 11 million 722 thousand 536 people were included in the list of citizens entitled to participate in the referendum.

In addition, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry has established 65 polling stations in 52 countries. More than 11,000 Kazakh citizens are expected to vote here.

Voting will be held until 20:00 local time.
