Kyrgyzstan – has begun producing wastewater treatment facilities using patented technology from a South Korean company, announced Rakhat Zhunushbaeva, the founder of SKY TUNUK, at an environmental forum focused on preserving Issyk-Kul Lake.
According to 24.kg News Agency, four types of treatment facilities are now available in the Kyrgyz market, including those for household and industrial wastewater, oil traps, and dust collectors.
Jeong Taewon, a South Korean environmental specialist, highlighted Korea’s readiness to transfer patented technologies to Kyrgyzstan. This collaboration is expected to provide the local company with access to innovative technologies, enhancing its competitiveness and efficiency. The initiative is part of a broader effort to exchange knowledge and experience between the two countries, potentially benefiting Kyrgyzstan’s environmental and industrial sectors.
