Kyrgyzstanis win 2 medals at shooting tournament in Kazakhstan

The international competition in rifle shooting — Altyn Mergen Grand Prix — ended in Shymkent city (Kazakhstan). The Kazakhstan’s Sports Shooting Federation reported on Facebook.

Kyrgyzstanis won two medals. Askat Tokmokov (pneumatic pistol, 10 meters) brought a silver medal to the national team, losing only to an athlete from Belarus. Aruuke Talantbekova (air rifle, 10 meters) took the third place.

Athletes from Belarus took the 1st team place (12 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals). Kyrgyzstan took the fourth place.

In total, almost 200 athletes from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan took part in the tournament.
