“Russia is interested in turning the South Caucasus into the zone of lasting development and prosperity,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the trilateral meeting held with Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs in Dushanbe, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“I hope that today’s meeting will allow moving forward on the path set by our leaders,” said Russian FM.

Sergei Lavrov noted that Moscow is interested in increasing confidence between the sides and creating condition for full normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
