Liverpool thrash Manchester United 5-0

Mohamed Salah was instrumental as Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 5-0 in an English Premier League game on Sunday, according to Anadolu Agency.

Liverpool took an early lead with Guinean midfielder Naby Keita scoring in the 5th minute at Old Trafford.

The Reds’ fans did not have to wait too long for the second goal as Portuguese forward Diogo Jota made it 2-0 in the 13th minute.

Salah took the stage for the first time in the 38th minute and scored the third goal for his team.

Just before the end of the first half, he scored again in the 49th minute and made it 4-0 for Liverpool.

The Egyptian star showed no signs of slowing down in the second half as well as he completed his hat-trick in the 50th minute, making it 5-0.

Salah became the first Premier League player to score an away hat-trick against the Red Devils.

He is also the only player to score a hat-trick at Old Trafford in 18 years.

Liverpool now rank second with 21 points in the Premier League table, while Manchester United are placed 7th with 14 points.
