An online meeting was held on the results of the 1st component of the project “Creating a Conference of Rectors in Azerbaijan” funded under the ERASMUS+ program of which the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is a partner.

The head of the 1st component of the project, a representative of the Mykolas Romeris University, Inga Juknytė Petreikienė, reported on the shortcomings of the current survey results for target groups of various categories compared to the predicted number.

After discussions, it was decided to re-conduct surveys in some categories to improve the quality of the information collected. It was also recommended to extend the time of conducting surveys until the end of July to achieve the planned number of requests.

Then, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the survey results, as well as translations of open questions into English were distributed among the project partners.

In addition, discussions were held on the preparation for conducting interviews on focus groups which are scheduled to begin in September, and an appropriate action plan was determined.

The meeting also provided information on the progress of conducting surveys and legal analyses among European partners to study the current experience related to the activities of the Conference of Rectors.

It was also decided to extend the time of conducting surveys in this area until the end of July.
