A conference dedicated to the “International Day of Cyber Security” was held by the local company PROSOL, specialized in the field of cyber security.

The event on the theme “Cyber Secure Economies: Reforms, Innovative Approaches and Solutions” aimed at contributing to the development of the cyber security environment in Azerbaijan to become more sustainable. Also, the purpose of the conference was to provide a successful platform for exchanging information on the threats that technological advancement may create and countermeasures.

Officials of relevant state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as cyber specialists from countries such as Turkiye, Israel, USA, Ukraine, Latvia and United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives of a number of well-known global and regional companies, including local partners took part at the event.

Discussions were held on 7 different panels at the conference. The First Deputy Head of the Main Department for Development of Digital Technologies and Innovations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Nijat Aliyev made a speech at the panel on the theme “More successful regulation for a sustainable cyber ecosystem: creating effective compliance with the best international standards and frameworks in the field of cyber security”. Nijat Aliyev spoke about the importance of the application of high technologies in ecosystem management and the development of innovative ecosystems and answered the questions.
