Member of the Italian Democratic Party, chair of Socialists, Democrats and Greens Group Michele Nicoletti has been elected President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) as the organization held its first plenary meeting of winter session.

Michele Nicoletti has represented Italy in PACE since 2013.
