MSC Georgia Announces New Office Opening in Azerbaijan

BAKU—MSC Georgia LLC, a prominent player in the logistics and transport industry, is poised to expand its regional footprint by setting up a new office in Azerbaijan. This strategic move was revealed during the “International Transport Corridors in the Black and Caspian Sea Region” session at the Black and Caspian Freight Forum 2024 held in Baku.

According to Trend News Agency, Alkan Alicik, Managing Director of MSC Georgia, highlighted the strategic importance of Azerbaijan in the company’s expansion plans. “Opening an office in Azerbaijan is a key element of our expansion plan. The decision is driven by the strategic significance of the country in the transport and logistics sector, its favorable geographical location, and developing infrastructure,” Alicik explained.

Alicik further noted that Azerbaijan’s strategic position at the crossroads of major European and Asian trade routes, coupled with active investments in transport corridors, ports, and warehousing facilities, makes it an ideal location for enhancing MSC Georgia’s operational capabilities. The establishment of this office aims to leverage Azerbaijan’s growing status as a logistics hub, thus facilitating smoother and more efficient trade flows across the region.
