A telephone conversation has been held between NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö, Stoltenberg wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

“Good call with Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö. He updated me on the deliberations in Finland on potential NATO membership. Allies highly appreciate our very close partnership and Finland’s contribution to Euro-Atlantic security,” noted Stoltenberg.
