Almost 2 million tourists have visited Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year. The Deputy Director of the Tourism Department Kiyal Kenzhematova told at a briefing.

«According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, at least 1,900 million tourists arrived in the republic. The results of the second quarter are still being summed up. Basically, these are guests from neighboring countries, as well as from Europe and Arab countries. Traditionally, citizens of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia take the first three places among the arrivals,» she said.

According to the expert, about 7.5 million tourists visited the republic last year. Growth is expected this year. According to forecasts, about 10 million people will visit Kyrgyzstan.
