Once again Moscow called on Baku and Yerevan to show restraint

Moscow is seriously concerned about recent incidents on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is stated in a comment distributed on Friday by Alexander Bikantov, deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“We are seriously concerned about the latest armed incidents on some sections of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border which led to human casualties. We express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish recovery to the injured and wounded,” the message reads.

Also, Moscow calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from any actions fraught with further aggravation of the situation on the border, the report says.

According to him, the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border goes on aggravating. “We call on the parties to refrain from any actions fraught with further aggravation of the situation, and resolve all emerging issues through political and diplomatic means,” the Foreign Ministry stressed.
