With the resumption of classes in schools in Baku on February 1, one case of coronavirus infection was detected – from a teacher of an educational institution.

In addition, according to the Baku Main Department of Education, two students and one deputy director of the educational institution were sent to self-isolation because they were in contact with COVID-19 patients.

According to the same source, the schoolchildren’s academic performance is 95 percent.

Classes in primary grades ( from 1st to 4th) and preparatory groups resumed on February 1. In Baku, classes are held three times a week. Of the 182,018 students in these classes, 1106 parents signed a subscription not to admit their children to full-time education. –06D-
