Over 300 companies to attend Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference 2018

The 25th Anniversary International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference 2018, as well as the 8th Caspian International Power and Alternative Energy Exhibition will take place at the Baku Expo Center on May 29-June 1. This was stated at the press conference by Farid Mammadov, president of Iteca Caspian Company.

This year 312 companies from 38 countries will take part in Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition. This year’s exhibition has expanded thanks to the addition of new companies, which accounted for 20 percent of the total number of participants. Most of them are foreign participants, showing high interest in the oil and gas market of Azerbaijan,” Farid Mammadov said.

The leading event of the region, International Caspian Oil & Gas Conference has been held from 1994 and built up an irreproachable reputation for bringing key oil & gas operators, heads, experts & professionals from around the globe.

The history of Caspian Oil & Gas began in 1994 just before the ‘Contract of the Century’ was signed in September of that year, an agreement which defined the main development areas for the Caspian Basin’s hydrocarbon resources. This contract opened a new chapter in the history of oil in the country. The idea of organizing Azerbaijan’s first exhibition dedicated to oil and gas was supported at the time by Heydar Aliyev, the country’s National Leader, and since then Caspian Oil & Gas has been a meeting place for leading oil, gas and energy professionals a place where memoranda, agreements and contracts for future cooperation are signed.
