Pashinyan: If Russia cannot fulfill its obligations, it should apply to UN Security Council

“If Russia cannot fulfill its obligations, it should apply to the UN Security Council,” said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at today’s press conference, APA reports.

“If Russia is unable to fulfill its obligations as a permanent member of the UN Security Council (UNSC) for objective or subjective reasons, t should appeal to the UN Security Council to give an international mandate to the Russian peacekeeping forces in Karabakh or to send a new multinational peacekeeping mission to Karabakh, which will ensure the security rules established by the trilateral statement signed on November 9,” Pashinyan said.
