Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and European Union (EU) Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson discussed the possibilities of supporting the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Black Sea submarine cable project, APA reports.

At the same time, opinions were exchanged on a number of issues, such as researching the potential of hydrogen export from Azerbaijan to Europe.

It was agreed to prepare a Road Map for the implementation of cooperation directions arising from the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership in the field of energy and to continue discussions on issues of mutual interest within the framework of the Azerbaijan-EU energy dialogue mechanism.
