Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met with Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Istanbul Apr.14.

During the meeting, they emphasized the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey and expressed satisfaction with the friendly, brotherly and partnership relations between the two countries.

The parties also pointed out the significance of the 13th Summit of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) which is being attended by heads of 30 states.

President Aliyev said that the summit has been organized at a high level and wished success to Turkey during the period of its presidency in the OIC.

They also exchanged views on the latest developments on the frontline in Nagorno-Karabakh.
