President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with the leader of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Press service of the head of state reported.

Sadyr Japarov warmly congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on election win, wishing further prosperity and development to the fraternal Turkish people.

In turn, the leader of Turkey thanked for the warm wishes and invited Sadyr Japarov to his inauguration ceremony.

The heads of state also discussed current areas of Kyrgyzstan — Turkey bilateral cooperation and prospects for joint cooperation.

Runoff election took place in Turkey on May 28. The current head of state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been re-elected for a new term.
