“The historic Victory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will remain forever in our history. We will live forever as a victorious nation, as a victorious state,” said President of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev as he addressed the personnel of the Special Forces military unit, APA reports.

“Our children, soldiers, and officers gave us this joy. All the Armed Forces made a valuable contribution to this Victory, and in just 44 days the historic Victory was achieved, the enemy knelt before us and was forced to sign the act of capitulation with his own hands. This is perhaps one of the most memorable, the happiest, the proudest moments in our history and in my life. Signing the capitulation act of Armenia is the proudest event in my life,” the President said.
