Prosecutor General’s Office: By now, 7 servicemen and 29 civilians have been killed as a result of mine explosion in liberated territories

Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan has revealed the number of people who have been killed or wounded as a result of a landmine explosion in the territories liberated from the occupation.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, from November 10, 2020, up until now, 7 servicemen and 29 civilians have been killed as a result of landmine explosion. Moreover, 109 servicemen and 44 civilians have sustained bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Early in the morning of December 9, two civilians, involved in reconstruction works in the vicinity of Shusha district were killed in a landmine explosion.

At present, all possible investigative measures are being carried out by the prosecution authorities.
