Protests on the Khankendi – Lachin road lasting for 22 days

Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action on the Khankendi – Lachin road in the city of Shusha in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the “Gizilbulag” gold and “Demirli” copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA’s correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.

 

The participants of the action, which has been going on for the 22nd day, continue their protests and chant various slogans.

 

During the action, as during the night, security rules were observed in the morning, and no incidents were observed.

 

The activists started the day by singing the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
