A resident of Azerbaijan’s Dashkasan region has hit a mine, APA’s local bureau reports.

The incident was recorded in Alakhanchalli village of the region bordering with Armenia.

Tagiyev Shukur Ashraf oglu, born in 1964, crossed the border while grazing sheep in the area.

Tagiyev stepped on mine while bringing his horse.

Sh. Tagiyev was hospitalized, his right leg was amputated from the ankle.

His condition is reported to be serious.
